By 2007, the Galiulin brothers had built a successful family business focused on the distribution of agricultural and food products. The main challenge was that they had to back with their own brand and reputation the products manufactured by third parties. Therefore, they set a goal to organise production processes “from field to shelf”.
Between 2007 and 2009, production sites were selected and the most ambitious technological solutions were implemented. This led to the decision to establish LLC “AgroVita”.
LLC “AgroVita” launched its operations in the Tuymazinsky District of Bashkortostan, based at the former Tuymazinsky collective farm in the villages of Duslyk and Gafurovo. By that time, years of work had already established production processes for raising farm animals and growing crops as feed components. The site featured versatile equipment, leased fields, 23 buildings for housing farm animals, 5 grain warehouses, 2 other warehouses, a milk processing workshop, a mill, a feed workshop, a construction workshop, a forge, a sawmill, a tractor fleet, a checkpoint, an office building, a canteen, and premises for accounting and reporting. Having secured a high‑quality raw‑material base, LLC “AgroVita” carried out processing activities in the Ilishevsky and Karmaskalinsky Districts of Bashkortostan. Sausage products were particularly in demand, so separate dedicated units were set up in Sterlitamak, Meleuz, and Chelyabinsk — these units focused exclusively on sales.
In 2010, the drought in the Western Urals led to the loss of the harvested crops. Between 2012 and 2014, demand for sausage products began to decline steadily, and the established business processes became less relevant. As a result, it was decided to carry out a rebranding.
In 2016, the company gradually began to adapt plant‑based proteins, which were popular in the Far East. Over time, many fields in Central Russia were sown with them. However, growing these crops seemed risky for the Urals and the Volga region.
In 2018, the “green agenda” gained prominence. Riding this information wave, LLC “AgroVita” proposed a project to produce agropellets at the site of the former livestock complex. At that time, the key question was which raw material would make the production most profitable. Options such as processing willow, poplar, and general wood waste were discussed. LLC “AgroVita” will conduct further experiments with these materials and provide a final answer to these questions.
The family business had always attracted envy. In the same 2018, a building was seized from LLC “AgroVita” through a document‑based hostile takeover. It took considerable time to clear the property of third‑party rights. On 29 December 2025, the Tuymazinsky Interdistrict Court of Bashkortostan ruled on the matter once and for all: LLC “AgroVita” is now the sole owner of the property complex.
During this period, LLC “AgroVita” shifted its focus to other projects. In particular, the 2016 idea to process plant proteins contained in soybeans and other oilseeds was implemented in the urban‑type settlement of Chishmy. Processing oilseeds and other agricultural crops is not a new activity for the Chishminsky District of Bashkortostan: the settlement of Chishmy has long served as a food supply base for Ufa. For this reason, LLC “AgroVita” plans to establish a specialised department there.
Sunflower husks, soybean hulls, and rapeseed waste will also be evaluated as components for the production of agropellets and bedding material. However, in 2026, it was decided not only to use the Tuymazinsky District site for processing agricultural waste. LLC “AgroVita” has begun cooperating with BASF and is actively engaged in contracting agricultural crops. The large‑scale production facility in Chishmy requires substantial amounts of raw materials, and LLC “AgroVita” intends to secure a reliable raw‑material base in the Tuymazinsky District of Bashkortostan.
